Since the founding of SCISS, our whole raison d’etre has been to provide scientists and science communicators with a tool capable of stunning visualizations of science at its most beautiful. Through in-depth interviews with staff and management, we have come to understand that there are many challenges these fantastic institutions face when carrying out their mission. Ucare is our way to help.
Easy to learn
With changes in staff some planetariums have suddenly lost the skills necessary for operating their software. That is why we have made Uniview very intuitive and why our Ucare site is filled with learn-for-yourself video tutorials.
User Group
In the hectic day to day operations, we understand it is difficult to find the time to catch up with new functionality and get the most out of your investment. Therefore we invite you to our annual User Groups, where staffers can focus exclusively on honing their skills and sharing use cases.
Updating content
As the boundaries of science are pushed forward and new discoveries are made, new content are published at the Ucare site. This allows your presenters to stay up to date and with current events such as the orbital insertion of the MESSENGER spacecraft. We are also glad to spread and promote user generated events such as the grand opening of the IceCube neutrino detector.

Upgrades
With Ucare you can download and update to the very latest Uniview version on your existing hardware. If you need assistance with this, we also offer to schedule help with installation at a minimum cost price by the hour.
